International Literacy Training Continues

ILTI students and their instructors pause for a group photo.
These students represent nationalities from the USA: Colorado, Virginia, Kansas, Indiana;
Africa: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Togo; and Bulgaria.
Students began the day with Inductive Bible Study from Philippians 1.
Reverend Ted,  led the study, encouraging us as we considered that God's hand
can be seen even in the difficult circumstances we face.
Jacinda, LEI Short-Term Teams Coordinator, read from Philippians.
Reverend Sid Rice shares the history of LEI which was started by Dr. Robert Rice in 1967.
You can read more about LEI's history at

Don and Leona Edic, English Language Ministry teachers,  shared their story of how
they came to become LEI English Language Ministry leaders.
We especially appreciate their being with us on their 47th wedding anniversary.
Reverend Don Edic, LEI's ELM Curriculum Development Director,
teaches the Using Everyday English curriculum he authored.
In chapel, Pat, from USA,  graciously shared her testimony of God's faithfulness reminding us,"God does all things well".
