Bob Plucks a Peach
Bob Biederman celebrates 20 years of faithful service at LEI.
"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow." 1 Corinthians 3:6 NIV
Dr. Bob Rice was an avid gardener. Even behind the Literacy and Evangelism office building he planted a row of fruit trees. Even now, many years after he has gone to heaven, his fruit trees bear fruit. Even so, many years after his passing the LEI ministry he planted continues to bears much fruit because of the work of many people who have caught the vision for literacy evangelism. Rev. Bob Biederman is one of these who has watered the garden and tended the work of this ministry. We celebrate his 20 years of faithful service at LEI. Bob has helped to construct numerous primers, train numerous teachers, lead countless workshops, and has shared the gift of reading with many others. But even more importantly, the population of heaven has been effected because of Bob's faithful witness. May all we do bring glory to God and bear much fruit in His Name.
Rev. Sid Rice gives Rev. Bob Biederman his award for 20 years of service to Literacy and Evangelism International. Tedd Lodes (LEI Latin America Director) and Bob's daughter share the moment.

Literacy and Evangelism equips the Church to share the message of Jesus Christ through the gift of reading. We develop Bible-content materials to teach basic reading in local languages and conversational English. We train church leaders and missionaries to use LEI materials for evangelism, discipleship, and church planting.
